Teacher takes award in SSBQ anniversary “win again” promotion

JONEL CADOUGAN received her prize on December 28 for being the winner of the Secondary School Bible Quiz’s 11th anniversary promotion billed WIN AGAIN. The prize, a $300 voucher, part sponsored by Massy Stores was presented by Jehann Jack.

Previous winners of the Quiz were invited to state their winnings and a draw was done among the respondents on December 18. Cadougan, who is now a Business Management graduate and teacher at the Girls’ High School was also the first recipient of the SSBQ-Distinguished Graduate Award back in 2011.

The SSBQ organizes a monthly Quiz for Secondary school students. In addition to encouraging the reading and appreciation of the Bible, it gives an incentive valued at about $600 to the winner which is co-sponsored by Acute Cosmetics, Jujube and the organizers. www. ssbq.org
