CIBC supports Rotary Club of St Vincent South’s major fundraising event

The Rotary Club of St Vincent South recently held a major fundraising event hoping to generate support for a number of community projects.

The Wine, Cheese & Chocolate fundraiser was aimed at supporting many projects in various communities including at-risk youth, community development and various other social development initiatives.

The event was supported by regional bank CIBC FirstCaribbean and Shelly-Anne Samuel, Country Head of the bank said the objective of the fundraiser was one which the bank fully supported.

“The Rotary Club of St. Vincent South has impacted the development of its communities with humanitarian projects. With the club’s fundraiser to raise money for much needed projects, CIBC FirstCaribbean pledged its support to the Wine Cheese & Chocolate fundraiser as the club’s community work aligns with the bank’s community focus,” she added.

Kim Haydock, President of the Rotary Club of St Vincent South said the club was “very happy that the bank stepped in to support this very important fundraiser.
