Cooking gas prices increase again
Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices have increased as of Wednesday.
The increase in prices range from as little as 31 cents to as much as $22.53.
In Area 1, which spans Arnos Vale to Lowmans Leeward, prices for the 100lb cylinder moved from $180.77 to $182.50, the 25lb cylinder moved from $45.19 to $45.57 and the 20lb cylinder moved from $37.15 to $37.46.
In Area 2, which includes communities beyond Lowmans Leeward to Keartons and Arnos Vale to Langley Park, LPG prices have moved from $180.77 to $182.50 for the 100lb cylinder, $46.19 to $46.57 for the 25lb cylinder and $38.15 to $38.46 for the 20lb cylinder.
Area 3 is made up of all areas on the mainland which do not fall into Areas 1 and 2. In these areas, LPG prices have moved from $180.77 to $182.50 for the 100lb cylinder, $47.19 to $47.57 for the 25lb cylinder and $39.15 to $39.46.
In Area 4, which refers to the Grenadines, prices have moved from $180.77 to $203.30 for the 100lb cylinder, $50.19 to $50.57 for the 25lb cylinder and $42.15 to $42.46 for the 20lb cylinder.
These changes are conferred by the Price and Distribution of Goods Act (CAP161) and have been approved by Cabinet.
