Charity to be launched during all-inclusive event this Sunday
Persons looking for the ultimate Carnival warm up all- inclusive event can journey to the Players’ Pavilion in Arnos Vale this Sunday June 3.
The event, dubbed “Visere- Ostuni The White Party, is the brainchild of lawyer Crystal Williams and is being described as, “an event like no other before Carnival officially kicks off”.
The event is two-fold, as it will be used to launch the Clarice Williams Foundation in honour of businesswoman Merle Williams (Crystal’s mom) who passed away on November 27, 2016.
Going a bit deeper, Williams said the event will be used to launch the charity that is aimed at less fortunate children in society.
“At 6.30 p.m., I am launching the charity and all eyes should be in the sky at that time.
“This charity seeks to help with the education of young children and in September we will be seeking out some of these less fortunate children to help them with school supplies for the new school term,” explained Williams who added that the plan is to go into communities and assist several persons with supplies.
In relation to the event, Crystal stated, “it is an event where you will get value for your money because we are catering so you will have an experience like no other.”
She said that Vicere is supporting local talent and will have only local DJs in the form of DJ Stiffla, Team Energy Overload and DJ Blaze.
“This is a jump start to Carnival, so we are going to have a lot of fun,” said Williams of the event which has a suggested but not enforced dress code of all white.
She said that the Italian themed party will have various local and Italian dishes including pasta, Italian chopped salad, Italian rise, Italian coffee, plantain salad, salt-fish, chicken, beef, mutton and many other dishes. The drinks list is also extensive and made up of premium liquor and other beverages including prosecco.
“Come out and support the event you won’t regret,” said Crystal who noted that pre-sold tickets are $220 and $250 at the door.
The event runs from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
