Grenadines to get more reliable service from FLOW

Telecommunications company Flow is assuring its customers in the Grenadines that they will have more reliable and stable service in the coming weeks.

This is in response to degraded services being experienced by customers on both the broadband and TV platforms, with customers on several islands experiencing disruption.

Engineering lead Marlon Bibby said since late 2017, customers in the Grenadines have been experiencing challenges with their Legacy Lime and Legacy Flow services, because the islands’ system has been hampered by power related issues, caused by faulty equipment.

Assuring that plans are already in the pipeline to resolve this issue, Bibby said his team is assiduously working along with the customer experience team to inform the affected customers.

He, however, said customers should receive more reliable and consistent broadband service by the end of February.

Duane Samuel, the head of the customer experience team, said it was important to work closely with the affected customers in an effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner, as well as to keep them updated.

The customer experience head disclosed that presently, the team is working on a power project which is expected to improve the power systems and reliability of these systems. He added that the company is also working on radio projects to improve the capacity to deliver bandwidth and to improve the quality of video in the Grenadines.

He assured customers that the company is not disengaged from what they are experiencing on the islands. Thanking the affected customers for their patience, Samuel apologized for the inconvenience over the last few months and said that having the issue resolved is of highest priority for the company.
