Gomea children usher in 2018 with New Year party

Approximately 100 children from the primary school level in Gomea ushered in the New Year with a children’s party at the Gomea Community Centre on New Year’s Day January 1, 2018.

The party, which was organized for the second year by community activists, referred to as “friends of the community,” saw the children enjoying themselves with games, dancing, singing and being treated to refreshments and gifts. Contributions for the party came from a number of individuals and businesses from within the community and outside.
