Tree Bar inter-house karaoke champ crowned

Noviesha Toney is Tree Bar inter-house karaoke champ.

Popular entertainment spot in St Vincent, the Tree Bar and Grill hosted its first inter-house karaoke competition finals last Monday, December 18.

The competition included participation by over 20 bars across the country, as they vied for the bragging rights, up to $1,500 cash and a grand prize trophy as the Tree Bar and Grill inter-house karaoke champion for 2017.

General manager at Tree Bar Tamra Antrobus noted that the love for karaoke is very much alive among Vincentians.

“It was for this reason we decided to host a competition by inviting other bars to collaborate, which inevitably adds to the enhancement of nightlife and entertainment during this our tourism and Christmas season.

Thirty-three participants sang at the semi-final round and 15 progressed to the final round of the competition.

Tree Bar and Grill continues to play an active role in the social and entertainment development in St Vincent. The bar and grill promises to host more reward based competitions in the near future.
