SVGCC begins new school year with ‘Just Freshers’
The St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) will start its 2017/2018 academic year with a two-day event dubbed âJust Freshersâ, on Thursday, August 31 and Friday, September, 1 at the Villa campus of the college.
The two days of interactive and informative orientation sessions will target new students, parents and the general public, as they are given a first-hand view of life at the SVGCC.
During the two days, various presentations would be made and individual booths will be set up around the Villa campus grounds to display the product lines of the College clubs, The Trend, Gaymes Bookstore, Jujube Bookstore, Missed Call Tech, Flow, Global Distributors, Cherice, T-shirt Store, RBTT, JOYMODEsvg, CWSA, NTRC, the RSVG Police Force and the American University of St Vincent.
The SVGCC administrative staff will also enlighten the âFreshersâ on academic advising, common vices of college students, staff and timetabling.
The âJust Freshersâ event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
