Digicel gifts lucky customer brand new Samsung Galaxy S8

Describing it as the best call he had received for the day, Albert Quammie, entrepreneur and Digicel customer, was beyond words to hear that he had won a Samsung Galaxy S8 in Digicel’s Text to Win competition for the month of May. And timely enough, Albert received the call on June 2 – his birthday.

As a graphic/visual artist and owner of VisuArts Customs, Quammie explained: “Having a very good smartphone that has a large display and takes great photos is integral in my job and I was badly in need of one, so this could not have come at a better time. Plus, to win the very latest Galaxy S8 on my birthday – it just doesn’t get any better than that. Thanks a mil, Digicel.”

The promotion, which was dubbed, ‘Pimp your phone,’ ran from May 1-31 and encouraged both prepaid and postpaid customers to text the word “SAMSUNG” to 7171 for their chance to win.
