Eight lucky persons were able to go the extra mile for their mothers on Mother’s Day after they participated in the Massy Stores in-store and Facebook promotions.

However, it was Genene Caruth who was able to give her mother the biggest Massy Mother’s Day surprise.

Caruth was the grand prize winner of the in-store promotion, which won her two nights for two at the superior deluxe room at Frangipani Hotel in Bequia, including a full breakfast.

The Massy Stores in-store promotion saw shoppers who spent EC$50 or more and swiped their Massy Card being given an entry form. The form was placed in a promotion box along with their receipts between April 10 and May 10, 2017.

There were three other prize winners. Juanna Holder won a Mother’s Day brunch/lunch for her mom and three other family membersat Grenadines House, Shani Neverson won 100,000 Massy Loyalty Points, and Lona Ollivierre won a Levi’s bag from The Trend.

Meanwhile, persons who submitted photos to akene.keizer@massygroup.com of themselves and their mothers engaging in an activity together along with a text explaining why their mother is “the best mom in the world” also won prizes.

Winner Ainka Providence received a kitchen appliance from Courts; Iesha Richardson, who placed second, got $300 in cash; while emerging third was Alyssa-Ann Laborde, who won a gift basket. For her fourth place Gabriella Bailey won a Jazzy Organics Facial Kit.

Participants were asked to like the Massy Stores Facebook page to enter, be a loyalty cardholder and include a transaction number from an old or recent receipt to be eligible.
