SVG Gospel Fest set for commencement

The 2017 edition of SVG Gospel Fest will be held here from Sunday, April 2 to Sunday, April 30.

The festival, which was started in 2003 and is now into its 15th year, is designed to showcase Vincentian gospel expressions in music, song, dance and drama. Over the years a number of this country’s leading gospel artistes got their start in the festival, which showcases talents from across the country.

Among the highlights of the 15th anniversary celebrations will be: “A Glorious Celebration,” the opening show on April 2, which will showcase outstanding artistes who emerged from the festival; “A Glorious Celebration of Dance,” a night of dance with dance groups from around the country on April 7th and the National Gospel Showcase on April 30.

SVG Gospel Fest 2017 is being held under the theme: “15 Years of the Glorious Celebration of the Gospel.”
