‘Paracetamol tablets safe’

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment has advised that it is save to use paracetamol tablets.

In a release, the Ministry said it is aware of social media reports which suggest that there are contaminated paracetamol tablets in general circulation.

The Ministry and in particular the drug inspector would like to categorically state that there is no evidence to support those claims. The Ministry further advises that it remains safe to use paracetamol tablets.
