The spirit of Christmas continues to visit Vinsave

Nigel Sayers, his wife Uso and children from the USA, together with his parents, Winston and Sylvia Sayers of Prospect, brought cheer and “goodies” to the children of Vinsave and Byesave, Byera pre-schools.

The festive event, which took the form of singing of Christmas carols, the sharing of gifts and refreshments took place at the Vinsave Auditorium, on Wednesday, December 21.

Nigel Sayers, in making remarks, said that the event was the brainchild of his wife. He said that they wanted their children to appreciate that there are other children who may not be as fortunate as they are, but they must show appreciation for them and for what they have. The concept of sharing must be encouraged, he said.

Nigel played Santa Claus, while his wife and children assisted with the distribution of the gifts.

The director of Vinsave Janice Fraser thanked the Sayers family for the initiative and expressed the view that the relationship will be strengthened. In attendance also were parents of the children, as well as teachers of both pre-schools.
