Police constable wins ‘golden ticket’ with thousands in cash

Police constable Euwen Grant of Sans Souci was last week recorded as the first golden ticket winner in Digicel’s 2016 Get Gifted Christmas promotion.

Grant, who has been a police officer for some three years now and a Digicel customer for just over a year, became eligible to get gifted by Digicel after paying his postpaid bill in full and on time. After performing the transaction, the police officer received five scratch cards, among them were three “Try Again,” one Seven-Day Data Plan and the Golden Ticket, which qualified him for the $5,000 cash prize.{{more}}

When asked how he intends to spend the unexpected lump sum of cash, Grant said he already has plans to open a savings account for his two-year-old son and also purchase him a very nice Christmas present.

The 24-year-old police constable expressed much thanks to Digicel for conceptualizing such a rewarding Christmas campaign, explaining that while it is his first time winning with the telecommunications company, he has always been a proud associate and believer in Digicel, specifically, because of how the company has transformed the lives of many Vincentians.

A very overwhelmed Grant expressed much thanks to Digicel for the early Christmas gift. He added he has never forgotten that Digicel was the telecommunications provider that came in and changed the lives of thousands of Vincentians by allowing them the opportunity to own a cell phone.

The Get Gifted Christmas promotion will see hundreds of Vincentians winning over $150,000 in cash and prizes this Christmas with Digicel when they top up $15 or more, activate a seven-day or higher data plan, pay their postpaid bill in full and on time or join the Digicel family.
