Nine Mornings launch postponed due to severe weather

The launch of the 2016 St Vincent and the Grenadines Nine Mornings, which was scheduled for this Sunday, December 4 at Heritage Square, Kingstown, has had to be postponed to next Sunday, December 11.

The SVG Nine Mornings Committee says its was forced to reschedule the launching, due to the severe weather which has been affecting the country and would have hampered preparations, especially in some rural communities, and the delay in funding from Government.{{more}}

The launch, now on Sunday, December 11, will take the form of a street parade with traditional lights and music, the lighting of Heritage Square and a Community Christmas Concert.

The Nine Mornings Festival is being celebrated under the theme: ‘Celebrating a unique Vincentian tradition – 2016 The Best Ever’.
