Former nurse receives visit, gift for 100th birthday

Former nurse Doreen Richards received vists from several people, including members of the nursing fraternity, on the occasion of her 100th birthday.

She was presented with a gift from the Caribbean Nurses Organization by Dame Delores Gumbs, in the presence of other persons, including Gail Scotland, president of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) Nurses Association and Ynolde Smart, president, {{more}}SVG Nurses Association.

Richard’s centenary was celebrated at her home with members of her family, friends and nurses. A short service was conducted by Reverend Father Ulric Jones.
