One of the most anticipated times of year is upon Vincentians once again — duty-free concessions on barrels received over the Christmas period.

Speaking at the Independence Rally last Thursday, October 27, Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves announced that this year, the concession period will run from Monday, November 14 until Saturday, December 31.{{more}}

During this time, households in St Vincent and the Grenadines will be allowed to import a maximum of three pieces at a reduced rate. All additional pieces will be charged at the regular fee.

During the 2015 concession period, some 18,000 barrels were cleared.
