“This is a very important occasion in the history of the movement and will bring together students, sponsors (teachers), principals, graduates (former students), pastors and other supporters of the movement,” a release from the organization said.

At Saturday’s meeting a new board of directors will be appointed and pioneers and former board members will be recognized.

An address will be given by Desmond Rogers, regional general secretary of the Caribbean Fellowship of Evangelical Students (CARIFES), who is based at the ISCCF regional office in Guyana.

ISCCF is familiarly known as Bible Club or Christian Fellowship in the secondary schools and is found in almost all secondary schools in St Vincent and the Grenadines and the different divisions of the SVGCC. It is a student-centred ministry and encourages Christian discipleship in the life of students by challenging them to: the study of the Bible; prayer and worship; Christian fellowship; and active participation in national, regional and worldwide evangelism.

The motto of ISCCF is: “To Know Christ and to Make Him Known.”

The organization is led by students; teachers serve as guides to facilitate the running of the group.

Some of the local medical schools are also associated with ISCCF.

ISCCF is associated with the regional body Caribbean Fellowship of Evangelical Students (CARIFES) and the international body International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES).
