An Upper Cane Hall resident was shot in his stomach and left for dead on Friday, October 14 in Kingstown.

According to reports, 25-year-old Orlando Browne was walking in the vicinity of the Minis­try of Education at round 6 a.m. when he was accosted by four men.{{more}}

He was robbed of his cellular phone and other personal items, after which one of the men shot him in his stomach.

He was later rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH), where he was successfully treated for his injuries. He was released last Sunday, October 16.

Police are investigating.
