The event was rescheduled from Saturday October 1 this year, owing to the passage of Tropical Storm Matthew which passed over the island during the week, causing floods and landslides, and one death.

The walk has now been rescheduled to Saturday, October 15.

Walkers will be greeted with an opening prayer and welcome, with an exciting warm-up from PUSH fitness representatives.

On return, walkers would experience a cool down with be BE FIT MOVEMENT by Lindon James and would be invited to mingle and socialize.

This year, proceeds from the walk would be donated to PROJECT PINK, the local organization dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer awareness and treatment. The event is being sponsored by FLOW, Going Places, Visa, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Quick Cash, Arabesque, Mustique Co Ltd, Harmony Investments, ECGC/JU-C and Tus-T water.

The turnout tomorrow will be the largest to date since CIBC FirstCaribbean has been hosting the event, with persons choosing to purchase T-shirts from last year’s event.
