GEF implementing Clean Energy programme in SVG

The Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are currently implementing a project called Promoting Access to Clean Energy Services (PACES) in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

This project is designed to mitigate the effects of climate change through interventions within the energy sector.{{more}}

PACES has recently embarked on a hybrid/electric vehicle demonstration project, which is aimed at exploring alternative transport and catalysing investment in the transportation sector. In order to maximize the results of this project, a macroeconomic analysis is currently being conducted to assess the impact that the introduction of electric vehicles would have on the local economy.

To better understand your views and concerns as it relates to electric vehicles, we kindly ask that you visit the Energy Unit’s Facebook page and or website for further information on the survey.

The survey is also accessible by the following link: https://goo.gl/forms/rPi3bZHkGUReq3wN2
