ACEMA Director in Dominica for Music Business Seminar
Hayden Billingy, recording artiste and one of the directors of Arch City Entertainment Management Agency (ACEMA), will participate in a seven-day intense Music Business Seminar in âThe Fundamentals of the Music Business in the 21st Centuryâ. This seminar is organized by Association of Music Professionals (AMP) in Dominica and delivered at the Dominica State College from September 12 to 20, 2016.{{more}}
ACEMA will be exposed to in-depth knowledge of various aspects of the music business, including Artiste Management, Copyrighting and Related rights, Recording Agreements and Royalties, Brand Organization and Protection, The Live Performance Market, among other topics.
The course will be facilitated by renowned Caribbean copyright expert, chair of the Eastern Caribbean Collective Organization for Music Rights (ECCO), economist, chair of AMP and president of the Association of Caribbean Copyright Societies McCarthy Marie and Adil NADRI, a highly experienced music and tour manager from Copenhagen, Denmark.
ACEMAâs director Billingy noted that this training will improve their portfolio to serve their musical clients with excellence internationally. ACEMA is an entertainment management agency that develops, promotes and manages Christian recording artistes and promotes and manages entertainment events. Gospel recording artistes Schreffler Maxwell and Tishorn Edwards from St. Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines respectively, are currently under the management of Arch City Entertainment Management Agency.
