Shoppers get Massy ‘Back to School’ gifts

For the last few weeks, five to six shoppers who spent at least $50 walked away with a backpack and stationery in Massy Stores 2016 Back to School Promotion.

The week one winners were Steve Francis, Petronia Ollivierre, Indra Cunningham, Deborah Mayers, Casian Pope and Christine Wallace. During week two, Rajesh Rawal, Annella Sealey, Joan Grant, Roxanne Durham and Kevin Pompey were the winners.{{more}} The week three winners were Prislat Francis, Sonja Slater, Elizabeth Bennett, David Forrest, Oswald Williams, and Desroy Browne.

In addition to the instore promotion, seven talented fourth and fifth form students from various secondary schools across St Vincent and the Grenadines were selected to represent their schools in six weeks of rigorous challenges, such as cooking, math, and quizzes, among others. The Grand Prize winner, Lynallia Isaacs, who represented Thomas Saunders Secondary School, walked away with a $2,500 scholarship, a brand new HP Laptop and $1,000 in school supplies from Budgmart and Jujube for her school.

Akata Cain from the West St George Secondary School, Phelisha Lewis and Zaria James from Bethel High School, Melissa Adams from the Girls’ High School, Alejandro Mayorga Tesorero from the St Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua and Jordan Lawrence Hamlet from the St Vincent Grammar School all walked away with consolation prizes of a gift basket, compliments Eve, a pack of Vita Malt from the St Vincent Brewery and a $50 voucher, compliments Massy Stores.
