Student receives five-year scholarship from Sun General
One student was recently awarded a five-year scholarship from Sun General Insurance.
Rianna Blake, who is a former student of the Petersville Primary School and the daughter of a client of the insurance firm, was awarded the scholarship at the insurance firmâs office in the Kenmars Mall,{{more}} following her outstanding performance in the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA).
This scholarship award is all in keeping with the goal of Sun General Insurance to ensure that no deserving student of the community be deprived of a secondary education because of a shortage of funds.
Rianna was valedictorian at her schoolâs graduation and placed first nationally in Language Arts with 94 per cent. She will begin her secondary studies at the St Vincent Girlsâ High School in September.
