Green Hill Sports Club continues to give back to community
The Green Hill Sports and Cultural Club Inc continued its community development programme with three activities as part of its 2016 vacation programme.{{more}}
The activities, under the theme âAppreciating what we have,â focused on getting youths to use what is available to them, in helping them to understand personal and community development.
A release from the club said on August 3, an Emancipation hike and river picnic to the Fenton Falls was held. This was followed by two weeks of netball training and recruitment on the hard court; then, there was a moonlight bonfire picnic on the Buccament Bay beach on August 19. The organization hopes to continue its activities in the month of October, with a major fund-raising activity; a childrenâs fund day will be held in November; and the community Christmas light-up in December.
