No visa required by Vincentians to travel to Mexico
Vincentians who possess valid visas for Canada, the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or any other country which forms part of the Schengen Zone, do not require a Mexican visa when travelling to Mexico for tourism purposes.{{more}}
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Commerce and Regional Integration advised on Monday that the Government of the United Mexican States has made changes to its immigration rules, which will facilitate increase travel to Mexico.
âEffective May 18, 2016, holders of ordinary and non-ordinary passports who possess valid visas for Canada, the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or any other country which forms part of the Schengen Zone, do not require a Mexican Visa when travelling to Mexico for tourism purposes.
âFurther, it should be noted that commencing July 1, 2016, foreign nationals who are holders of documents which accredit them as permanent residents in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, any other country which forms part of the Schengen Zone, the Republic of Colombia, the Republic of Chile and the Republic of Peru do not require a Mexican Visa when travelling to Mexico as a tourist,â the release said.
