Green Hill man died of heart attack

Godfrey Jacobs, the Green Hill man who was found dead in the kitchen of his two-storey dwelling house on Sunday, died of a heart attack and not murder as was rumoured.

Jacobs’ nephew, Randy Thorne, who had suspected from the start that his uncle was not murdered, told SEARCHLIGHT on Tuesday that an autopsy revealed that Jacobs had a massive heart attack.{{more}}

Thorne said that his uncle’s friends had noticed that he had been urinating frequently and suspected that he was having prostate issues. An enlarged prostate gland was verified by the autopsy.

When persons did not see 65-year-old Jacobs for two days, they went searching for him at home and found him dead in a chair in his kitchen.

Thorne said that the blood that was at his uncle’s feet and marks on his chest and face made him think that his uncle’s death had a sinister twist to it, a theory that the autopsy has put to rest.(LC)
