Calliaqua Carnival begins tonight with Queen Show

A new Miss St Georges beauty queen will be crowned tonight, as Calliaqua Carnival kicks off at the Calliaqua Hard Court, beginning at 8 p.m.

The show, which will also include a calypso and soca competition, will culminate in a J’Ouvert street party from the Aquatic Club to the Calliaqua Playing Field,{{more}} beginning at 5 a.m. on Saturday.

At 3:30 on Saturday afternoon, there will be FLOW street jump up, beginning at the Calliaqua Playing Field, through Villa, Glen and back to the Calliaqua Playing Field.

On Sunday, there will be Kiddies Carnival, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Calliaqua Culture Pot Square.
