Eight schools participating in this year’s Drama Festival

Eight schools will take the stage in this year’s Schools’ Drama Festival at the Peace Memorial Hall.

The festival had its launch on Tuesday, with a brief ceremony followed by a production from the Bethel Secondary School.

The festival will run for three weeks, from Tuesday, November 10 to Tuesday, November 23.{{more}}

The St Joseph’s Convent Kingstown took the stage on Wednesday, followed by the West St George Secondary School, who performed yesterday.

The competition continues on Monday with a production from the Thomas Saunders Secondary School, followed by the Barrouallie Technical institute on November 17, the Troumaca Ontario Secondary School on November 18, Petit Bordel Secondary School on Thursday, with the Girls’ High School climaxing the event on November 23.

The Finals and Award Ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 26.

The admission is free and the festival begins at 3:30 p.m. each afternoon.(AS)
