Cashwiz honours unsung hero for Independence

Cashwiz, St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), preeminent provider of short-term consumers’ loans, on Saturday, October 24, began the countdown to SVG’s 36th anniversary of Independence by honouring an unsung member of the community.

Jennetha ‘Sissy’ Wallace was honoured for her outstanding contribution to the people of Layou and surrounding areas at the inaugural Coconut Festival held in that coastal town.{{more}}

“It was a surprise to be recognized this way by Cashwiz,” said a humble Wallace, as she collected her prizes.

“It’s just part of my nature to help those who need my help and until that day when God calls for me, I continue to do what comes naturally to me, helping others.”

“Cashwiz is not only a company in business to make money,” said Andrew French, general manager of Cashwiz SVG, at the handing over ceremony.

“Cashwiz SVG stands for leadership in all aspects of business: financially, economically and at the same time being a humanitarian for the society. We strive to provide commodities and service at an affordable cost to customers, while simultaneously trying to assist persons who are less fortunate from time to time. We stand for loyalty, commitment, perseverance, hard work and trust. Life is a daily battle and without these attributes, that battle is as good as lost.”

In addition to providing short-term loans, Cashwiz SVG also buys, sells, trades and consigns goods. They are located at the corner of Sharpe Street and Long Lane. Their mission is to provide instant cash for those in need and quality retail products for everyone.
