Medical Association hosts Career Exhibition next week
The St Vincent and the Grenadines Medical Association continues its activities for the month of October next week when it hosts the Annual College and Career Exhibition.{{more}}
The exhibition will take place on October 14 and 15 at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown and is free to the public. Several institutions will have career guidance counsellors available and information on college programmes will be readily available.
Next Friday, October 16, is the day ear-marked for the 11th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness PINK CAP City Walk from Heritage Square to Higginson Street and back to Heritage Square for the Closing Rally and the draw of the Car Raffle. The public is invited to participate in this effort.
Sunday, October 18, is the scheduled day for the 5k Pink Run/Walk from Arnos Vale to the GrassRoot Tennis Courts in Murrayâs Road, Kingstown. This particular event is being held in collaboration with the students of Trinity School of Medicine, and will begin at 7 a.m. from the gates of the Arnos Vale Playing Field. Runners/Walkers can sign up at the Pink Day Sales, or call 457-0317 â at the secretariat for more information.
Last Friday, October 2, was PINK Day when T-shirts, pink caps, ribbon pins, pink cup cakes and several other items to support breast cancer patients were sold.
