Mind shapers donates fans to Kingstown Anglican
The Kingstown Anglican Schoolâs Annex yesterday received a generous donation from the non-profit organization Mind Shapers.
Eight fans, with a combined value of $1,500, were donated by the organization which, according to team leader Joanne Ballantyne,{{more}} has taken interest in the children. She said they have adopted the school and have started at the kindergarden and hope to make their way up to Grade 6.
Joanne Lynch, who is the teacher in charge of the schoolâs annex, expressed gratitude for the fans and stated that they would be useful, especially to students who return to the classroom hot, after the lunch break.
Founded 15 years ago, Mind Shapers has recently regrouped and consists of young and experienced individuals. The group is dedicated to providing assistance to persons in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The group has also announced its Family Fun Day to be held on November 21, at the Cruise Ship Terminal from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Food and entertainment from guest artistes will be provided, along with all-round family fun.(AS)
