CED extends deadline to register for Record keeping Seminar

Persons who have not yet registered for the Record keeping Seminar, scheduled for next week, now have until tomorrow to do so.

The Centre for Enterprise Development Inc (CED) says it will facilitate late registration for the seminar, which is designed to help persons understand the importance of good record keeping and equip them with the necessary tools.{{more}}

“Up to late last Friday we received calls from persons who want to get into the Financial Management workshop, and there is still room for you to get in, so we have extended the deadline for registration to facilitate you,” says CED’s training coordinator Keisha Phillips.

The Record Keeping Seminar targets business owners, managers, accounts clerks, and other interested individuals responsible for the financial management in their organization, or those wishing to understand the fundamentals of financial management. And, according to Phillips, it is crucial for persons in business to participate in this seminar.

“It is a fact that most persons in small business or even managers of businesses do not have an accounting background and therefore do not have an understanding of the basic record keeping procedures. But this an opportunity for you to gain a better understanding of such and see how this aspect of financial management will help you to make better financial decisions and manage your business successfully.”

 The August 24 to 28 seminar is entitled Introduction to Record Keeping. It takes place at the NIS training room, under the theme “Good Recordkeeping to Ensure Business Success.”
