Harvest Bible Chapel marks anniversary with concert

This Sunday, August 16, the Harvest Bible Chapel St Vincent and the Grenadines will host a free concert, titled ‘Worship in the Park’.

The concert, to be held at the Rawacou Recreational Park, begins at 3:00 p.m. and is being held as part of the lead up to the church’s fifth anniversary service, which takes place on September 6 at the Aquatic Club in Villa from 4:00 pm.{{more}}

Both the concert and anniversary service are open to the general public.

Al Blake, the lead pastor of HBCSVG, commented that over the past five years the church has been the object of God’s favour and faithfulness. He mentioned that “Our goal as a church has always been to see God manifest His presence in our midst and we have been pursuing this by proclaiming the authority of God’s Word, lifting high the name of Jesus in worship, praying fervently and boldly sharing the good news about Jesus.”

Over the years, the church has hosted two free medical clinics – dental and chiropractic – a number of food and clothing drives and assisting in the rebuilding of a wing of the Milton Cato Hospital after the devastating floods of 2013.

“While we enjoy meeting the present needs of those in our community, our greatest joy is in making disciples who would spend eternity with Christ in heaven,” says pastor Al Blake.

He further stated that “The anniversary service is all about us celebrating the faithfulness of God, we want everyone to know that God is faithful.”
