Underwater volcanic eruptions from Kick ‘em Jenny over – Grenada Disaster Agency
The recent eruption that took place at the Kick âem Jenny underwater volcano has ended.
The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) of Grenada, in a release issued last Friday, said no activity has been recorded at the volcano site since 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, which âconfirms that the recent eruption has ended.â{{more}}
âThe Government of Grenada wishes to advise that the alert level for the Kick âem Jenny under water volcano remains at YELLOW, which means that vessels should strictly observe a 1.5 km exclusion zone. However, as a precautionary measure, vessels should continue to observe the 5 km exclusion zone.
âPlease be reminded that the official advisories on this matter, and all other disaster related matters will come directly from the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA).â
Kick âem Jenny is located at 12°. 18â N, 061°. 38â W or 8km (4.32 nautical miles) north of Grenada.
