Rubis customers treated to free copies of Searchlight

More Rubis customers have been treated to free copies of the SEARCHLIGHT newspaper with their purchase of Rubis Ultra Tec Fuel.

Last Friday, senior branch manager at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank (FCIB) Andre Cadogan received his copy and explained that since he purchased a new vehicle in 2014, he has never used any other fuel than Rubis. Cadogan stated that he is pleased to see the collaboration between SEARCHLIGHT, the premiere newspaper in SVG, and Rubis.{{more}}

Carson Ferdinand of Dorsetshire Hill, who also received a free SEARCHLIGHT, said he only buys his fuel at Rubis because from what he has heard, their fuel is cleaner and lasts much longer. He also said the service at Rubis is better.

The free newspaper promotion is a joint effort of Rubis and SEARCHLIGHT and began on July 21 at all Rubis service stations in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

“There is never a dull moment at any Rubis service station. We always have some sort of promotion or mini activity, whether it’s in the form of spin the wheel activity or a fuel promotion. We are always collaborating with some companies and finding some creative way of giving back to our customers,” Rubis marketing manager Elroy Edwards said.

“SEARCHLIGHT is the premier newspaper in St Vincent and the Grenadines and people right now, they gravitate towards the news and this is just one way of putting out the newspaper, getting people informed about what is really happening around them.”

All Rubis service stations in St Vincent will give the first 50 customers to purchase $50 or more worth of Utra Tec fuel a free SEARCHLIGHT with their purchase every Tuesday and Friday. The promotion will run until August 28.
