Eye R Us acknowledges sucessful CPEA students

Seven students who were successful in the recently concluded Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) were recently recognized for their accomplishment by eye care provider Eyes R Us.

The students: Cha-Chanie Morgan, Davon Ellis, Donya Lucas, Danielson Ferguson, Chase Johnson, Lorenzo McMaster, Paige Cadogan were presented with gift bags, compliments the eye-care facility, as acknowledgment for their success at the examination, which propels them into the world of secondary school.{{more}}

The presentation was made at the Beachmont Eye Institute, located at Beachmont in Kingstown.

The students, along with their parents, were congratulated by the staff members, who encouraged them to continue the excellent work that they performed in order to overcome the hurdle, and were reminded that “the journey has only just begun,” and they needed to remained focused and dedicated to their work.

Morgan, Lucas and Cadogan will attend the Girls’ High School, while Ellis, Ferguson, Johnson and McMaster are set to attend the St Vincent Grammar School.

This presentation is the first of its kind to be made by Eyes R Us, with plans underway to make it an annual event.

Meanwhile, the company is making eye examinations and glasses more accessible to students and teachers, with its back to school offer currently underway.

Students and teachers can receive free eye examinations and if necessary, glasses at a discounted price, while stocks last.
