10 chosen for Brewery’s ‘Deal or No Deal’ game show

The 10 persons who will take part this Friday, July 31 in the St Vincent Brewery Limited’s ‘Deal or No Deal’ game show type activity have been chosen.

The 10 are Keith Douglas (Campden Park), Kenville Sutherland (Kingstown), Renrick Davis (Gorse Village), Vandora Gibson (Diamonds Village), Fred France (Calder Ridge), Martello Knights (Cane Grove),{{more}} David Culzac (Largo Heights), Catherina Ashton (Bequia), Gemma Browne (Belair) and David Jackson (Belair).

The Brewery’s Deal or No Deal will take place at Heritage Square and will see three lucky persons walking way with huge sums of cash. One person will get EC$5,000, another will take home EC$10,000 while the luckiest of them all will walk away with EC$30,000. Participants will also take home Hairoun products.

Persons were entered in Friday’s game show as part of an under the crown promotion dubbed, ‘30 years we Vincy and proud’. This promotion is being held to mark Hairoun Beer and the Brewery’s 30th anniversary.

The ‘30 years we Vincy and proud’ marketing campaign was launched on Tuesday, May 12 at the St Vincent Brewery Limited compound in Campden Park and as a result, Sales and Marketing manager at the Brewery Shafia London-Williams urged persons to look under the crowns of the Hairoun beer to win instant prizes such as Hairoun branded T-shirts, free beers, tickets to Carnival shows, Carnival costumes and cash ($5, $10 and $30).

Persons were also asked to look under their crowns for three diamonds (like the local flag), which gave them the option to claim an EC$300 prize or an opportunity to take part in ‘Deal or No Deal’. Persons who got a crown with the three diamonds, got an instant pass into the competition, but they were also allowed to trade in their diamonds for $300.

The ‘Deal or No Deal’ finale will take the format of a live show give-away, “a game of luck and chance,” according to London-Williams, who added that persons hoping for a chance in the finals could have also entered the Brewery’s sweepstakes draw by placing three crowns in an envelope with their name and contact information and placing it in specially marked Hairoun boxes that were located at Hairoun resellers.

Said marketing coordinator at the Brewery Kelvin Franklyn, “now that the Hairoun Beer 2015 under the crown promotion has come to an end, this Friday, Heritage Square will come alive, as Hairoun stages the grand finals of the Hairoun Deal or No Deal Game Show.”

Franklyn stressed that there are 10 finalists and three out of the 10 will walk away with cash prizes.

“The games will be played in three different ways and there will be different prizes that could be won,” noted Franklyn.

The 30th anniversary party will see performances from young local artistes, such as Madskull, Royal, Dr P and Milo. Skinny Banton out of Grenada will also make a live performance.
