Chamber to host luncheon presentation on prospects for geothermal energy in SVG

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Chamber of Industry and Commerce will on Friday, July 17 host a luncheon at the Beachcombers Restaurant in Villa.

Reykjavik Geothermal and Emera Caribbean will make a presentation on the prospects for geothermal energy in St Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}

The presentation will address issues of project scale, cost, start and completion timeframe, expansion possibilities, challenges, environmental factors and energy security.

The cost of electricity is a major factor that impacts the profitability and competitiveness of businesses especially the manufacturing sector. The Chamber is therefore pleased to give its members and other interested businesses an opportunity to hear first-hand from the entities involved in this project.
