The St Vincent and the Grenadines Teachersâ Union in collaboration with the Canadian Teachersâ Federation, the Ministry of Education and Basic Needs Trust Fund will conduct its two-week Summer Institute workshops for educators from July 13 to 24, 2015.{{more}}
These workshops will provide educators with the skills and confidence to reach every student with real, relevant differentiation, particularly in the areas of Mathematics, Language Arts, Special Education, Assessment, and Early Childhood Education. The Early Childhood Education Workshops will run for three weeks from July 13 to 31, 2015.
These workshops will help teachers to equip students with the skills they need for the 21st century and to prepare them for Curriculum Standards success! They will also acquire the confidence and competence to successfully train fellow educators.
All participants will be exposed to Trade Unionism, Action Research and ICT Integration.
All workshops will take place at the St Vincent Girlsâ High School and will begin at 8:30 a.m.
