Bullock will travel to The Bahamas on Sunday, July 12, to participate in the MMTS annual week-long conference, which consists of music, modelling and acting.
Bullock was chosen from an intense audition selection process, where regional scouts chose the best new faces and new talent from the Caribbean. Top fashion and talent scouts, personal managers, casting directors, booking agents, record labels and music producers judge the MMTS competitions and conduct seminars, while searching for new singers, producers and songwriters, as well as models and actors to work in the entertainment and fashion industries.
The Girlsâ High School student prides herself in being able to balance both her academic life and being a singer. If her desire to become a singer becomes a reality, Bullock will complete a dream she has had since the age of 5.
The songbird believes that the opportunity to be an ambassador for St Vincent and the Grenadines is a step towards creating a successful musical career, while helping to showcase the musical talents that exist in SVG. Bullock is a regular competitor in the local Gospel Festival and has captured a number of gold medals.
Bullock is the daughter of Candice Bullock-Sergeant and Ron Sterling. She is being coached and managed by Sherilan Dennie-Edward.
The Music, Model & Talent Showcase of the Islands (Island MMTS) is a one-of-a-kind event for the islands, and is the only modelling and talent showcase in the world specifically targeting the Caribbean market.
