Caribbean Police Welfare Associations meeting in SVG

The Caribbean Federation of Police Welfare Associations (CFPWA) will host its Fourth Annual General Meeting in St Vincent and the Grenadines this week.

The meeting, which will be held under the theme “Preparing For The Challenges of Tomorrow,’’ will be held at the National Insurances Services Conference room from June 17 to 18.{{more}}

The Opening Ceremony will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17, from 9 a.m. and is expected to hear addresses from Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves, Commissioner of Police Michael Charles, president of the Caribbean Federation of Police Welfare Associations Sgt Brenton Smith and chair of the local Police Welfare Association Inspector Trevor Bailey.

The feature address will be delivered by Deputy Commissioner of Police of St Lucia Severin Monchery.
