Penniston resident wins $64,000 Lotto jackpot
For Alban Cudjoe, patience is all it took to take home a $64,000 lotto jackpot.
The Penniston resident visited the National Lotteries Authority offices on Tuesday to collect his winnings from the draw that took place on April 17.{{more}}
âIâm feeling fine about this jackpot. The reason: because I played many times,â Cudjoe said, while making an analogy with a monkey and a fly.
âWhen you ask the monkey how he catch the fly, he say he use patience.â
After receiving the cheque this week, Cudjoe jokingly said that he would love to win another jackpot, because he has many plans for his winnings.
The retired carpenter, who also plays the NLAâs newest game, Play 4, bought his winning quick pick ticket at the St Vincent and the Grenadines Postal Corporation. The winning numbers were 9,10,18,19 and 22.
NLA product development officer Anthony Dennie congratulated Cudjoe on his win and encouraged citizens of St Vincent and the Grenadines to continue playing NLA games, as they are supporting the development of sports and culture in this country, when they do so.(BK)
