LIME appoints new country manager

LIME has annouced the appointment of Vincentian Wayne Hull to the position of country manager, St Vincent and the Grenadines.

A release from LIME says Hull is an accomplished finance executive with over 15 years experience, the last 12 spent with LIME, where he has served in the capacity of finance manager and senior financial analyst Operations and Control in the Southern Cluster.{{more}} Prior to joining LIME, Hull worked with professional services company KPMG.

“In his most recent role, Wayne had managerial responsibility for all aspects of finance, financial planning and reporting, corporate governance, as well as serving as financial controller for all Southern Cluster markets. During his extensive career with LIME, Wayne also had the opportunity to act as acting Country Manager, St Vincent and the Grenadines,” the release said.

Hull is a certified accountant, holding the designation of ACCA.

“These are exciting times for CWC as we continue to build our network, grow our customer base and expand our product lines. We are confident that Wayne will continue to play an important role as we further cement our position as a leading telecommunications company across the Caribbean and Latin America.”

LIME’s immediate past country manager, St Vincent and the Grenadines, was another Vincentian, Leslie Jack, who spent his last day on the job on April 10, 2015.

When news broke that Jack and LIME had parted ways, it was speculated that Jack was possibly one of the first major casualties of the job cuts which are expected to accompany the CWC/Columbus merger, which came into effect at the beginning of April, 2015.
