Special Olympics SVG Bingo jackpot winners
Yet again, bingo proved to be the peopleâs choice and a popular Special Olympics St Vincent and the Grenadines fund-raiser.
Last Saturday night, the car park of the Bank of St Vincent and the Grenadines buzzed with excitement, as patrons played the game in the hope of winning the $1,000 jackpot.{{more}}
There were seven rounds of Bingo, six rounds with prizes that ranged from $50 all the way up to $250. The big winners of the night were Annette Allick and Jacqueline John, who walked away with the jackpot of $1,000, sponsored by Vita Malt. Other lucky winners were June Cato, Cassita Primus, Karen John, Rosemarie Lewis, Malachi Huggins, Natasha Doyle, Euwar Thomas, Jefferson Nathan, Franceta Nanton, Keshorn Durham and Denise Matthews.
Special Olympics SVG relies on the support and contribution of individuals and companies. Gratitude is extended to Vita Malt, BMC Agencies, LG Sales, Log Enterprises, Fanfare Events, Cyndale Enterprises, Gonsalves Liquors and Ken Whyttle for their support in making the Bingo fund-raiser a success.
With just over two months to go, SOSVG still needs to raise over $50,000 to cover the cost of 26 athletes competing in the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles.
âWe are grateful to everyone who supported the Bingo night, but we are calling upon the whole nation to dig deep into their pockets to ensure that our team gets the opportunity to compete on the global playing field and make us proud,â a release from Special Olympics said.
