Observe strict water conservation measures – CWSA

The Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) has appealed to the public to observe strict water conservation measures.

According to a release, the water supply from intakes at Dalaway and Montreal has been significantly reduced as a result of the continuing lack of rainfall.{{more}}

“As a result of this, the CWSA is requesting all citizens to now observe strict water conservation measures, including restricting the watering and washing of vehicles with hoses. Caretakers of schools and public buildings are expected to ensure that wastage is eliminated and the general public is also asked to continue to report all leaks promptly to the CWSA.

The CWSA will continue to keep the public informed as the situation develops,” the release said.
