PM off to Martinique and Guadeloupe

Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves will travel to the French Departments of Martinique and Guadeloupe today to participate in two events, at the invitation of François Hollande, President of the French Republic.{{more}}

The first event will be the Regional Summit on climate change which will be held in Martinique on May 9. The following day, Gonsalves will travel to Guadeloupe for the Inauguration of the Memorial on Slavery.

Nyasha Hamilton, Environmental Educator and Focal Point for Climate Change in the Ministry of Health will attend the meeting with the Prime Minister in Martinique, and Senator Jomo Thomas, will join the Prime Minister in Guadeloupe for the Inauguration of the Memorial on Slavery, on May 10.
