“If you are a farmer, a parent, an individual who is interested in your overall personal health, that of others and/or that of the environment in which we live, then join us for an evening of drumming with the Rose Hall Drummers, poetry, film and discussion about healthy lifestyles,” a release from the Alliance said.

The featured film will be “Open Sesame.”

In keeping with the 2015 World Climate Change reunion in Paris and the United Nations celebrating 2015 as the “International Year of Soils – healthy soils for a healthy life,” the Alliance Française, Chatoyer Gardens and Richmond Vale Academy are enthused to present the Healthy Soil, Planet, People Festival from May 11 to 21.

This 10-day festival is for all to find out the truth about where our food comes from, about eating the right foods to feel better, about how to plant food organically without the use of chemicals.

“Through films and discussions discover and share information about Climate Change, Permaculture, Slow Food and more!” the release said.
