Following the success of his earlier play “Da Mans Dem” in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Canada and the UK in 2014, Charles has teamed up with local Vincy actors Leddie & Co and Curtis Williams of Alphasound Studio MusicALL to bring his hit comedy stage play Love Sax and all that Jazz “Da Girls Dem” to SVG in June 2015 for two nights only. The play which is the prequel to “Da Man’s Dem,” chronicles the experiences of five varied friends as they navigate their lives pertaining to love, sex, and all that drama.

Shanice has had enough, Lisa is quite contented, Louise can’t find any, Kelly has way too much, and Chantelle doesn’t want any. This cleverly crafted and wonderfully written script will feature a cast of both Trinidadian and Vincentian actors and actresses.

Based on family values, the play addresses the issues of singleness, man shortage, abuse, unequally yoked relationships, love, infidelity, and so much more. Combining music, comedy and spoken word “Love Sax and all that Jazz” is a roller coaster experience of laughter and intrigue that will uplift, inspire and edutain the whole family. The team is pleased to be working in association with our proud sponsors Coreas Hazells Inc in bringing the production to SVG.

The play will be staged on June 6 and 7 at the Russell Auditorium at Stoney Ground, beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday.
