Soroptimist International SVG helps woman back on her feet

The Soroptimist International SVG (SISVG) is committed to helping needy women regain their footing in society.

Rita Green, who lost her belongings in the December 2013 floods, can attest to this, having received a refrigerator from SISVG on March 4.{{more}}

Green’s family is one of two families headed by women that SISVG has been assisting since the 2013 Christmas floods in the form of food packages, clothing, household items.

Additionally, Green, who was pregnant at the time of the disaster, has since given birth to her baby and has received assistance from the all-female group in the form of baby clothes, disposable diapers and other items.
